AUCTION PROCESS
Buying from auction can reduce both costs and delays, all while providing a fair and balanced buying opportunity for both you and your clients.

Timing is Everything
With more than 120 auction houses selling over 30,000 cars per day, Japan's car auction network is among the world's most prestigious.
-
We receive a maximum of 48 hours notice before a car goes to auction
-
Once at auction, bidding is both live and automated
-
Most cars sell in less than a minute!
-
This means that maximum bids must be decided in advance of the auction
Payment is Automatic
Upon winning a car at auction, our accounts are automatically debited for the full balance while the car is arranged to be brought to our shipping yard. Because of this, we require a minimum 20% deposit of the maximum bid amount, with the remaining balance due within five (5) business days.
Condition Reports are Good, Not Perfect
Each auction house maintains a staff of unbiased inspectors who take notes on the condition of each car. While the grades assigned to each car's interior and exterior serve as a great guideline, occasionally details are missed.
More thorough inspections are available upon request.
Location, Location, Location
Did you know that some auction houses are located on remote islands that require thousands of dollars of inland shipping - just to get to a port that services foreign countries? Or that some auction houses only serve "junk" cars?
Leave it to our team of experts to help guide you and find the best auction houses for your needs.
